These terms and conditions ('Terms') apply to your use of our Mobile Beta version, (the ‘Solution’), our website and our services described below and form part of the agreement between you and Aila Money Limited (‘Aila Money’, ‘Aila’, 'we', 'us'). Our company number is 15477044 and our registered office is at 28 Goodluck, Hope Walk, EC14 0XN, London, United Kingdom.
By using the Aila Solution and website you agree to these Terms. You should read these Terms carefully along with our Privacy and Cookie Policy , and only use our service if you are over 18 and you agree to them.
These Terms have no fixed or minimum duration. They will apply until either you or we end this agreement (see 'Your right to cancel' and 'Our right to suspend, restrict or end this agreement'). We will occasionally renew the terms and will always update you about any changes we make.
Aila’s Solution does four things for you:
We are constantly developing and improving the Solution, so we will also tell you about new features or content of Aila we’ve launched that you might not be aware of, existing features of Aila we can see you've not used and new or existing third-party services which can be accessed through the Solution.
Through the secure processing of the personal data, you provide when you sign up for the beta version and any other personal data you share throughout the beta version. Without this personal data, and the right to process it as required, Aila cannot perform the main functions for you that it has been designed for. Your privacy and security are our number one priority, and your data is always protected.
Please see our Privacy and Cookie Policy details of how and on what basis we collect information about you, and the ways in which you and your data are protected.
As part of the service, Aila may provide introductions to coaches or advisors, content and website links from various third parties, which may include the providers of your personal accounts. If you choose to speak to and work with an advisor, these advisors may pay us. We will do our best to check the advisors we refer you to meet regulatory requirements and are appropriately accredited, but we aren’t responsible for the advice, products and services provided to you by these third parties; these fall under the terms and conditions of the third party themselves.
When Aila makes tailored advisor suggestions for you, we are not driven by whether we receive a payment or not – we do so based on your needs and the best fit for the users of Aila.
The Aila Beta Solution is free to use for the time being. For the current Beta version, there is no subscription charge or price that you are required to pay.
If you choose to access an Aila Coach, coaching fees will apply. These can be found on our website and will be communicated to you in advance of a coaching session. You can choose to buy a single session or multiple sessions. You can also buy access to group coaching.
When scheduling a coaching session, you agree to pay the coaching fees and will do so in advance of the session. Aila reserves the right to increase coaching fees, any associated taxes, or to add new fees at any time upon reasonable advance notice to you. Aila also reserves the right to discount coaching fees at any time and for these discounts to apply to some or all customers. You have a right to cancel a coaching session until 24 hours before the scheduled call and can ask for a refund of unused coaching sessions if you have purchased multiple sessions.
See the section entitled "Your right to cancel" for more information on how to do this.
As you would expect, these Terms only cover the services provided by us. They don't deal with taxes or costs that might be charged by advisors or other third parties that you need to pay in order to receive our services – for example costs charged by your mobile phone provider.
To use Aila’s Solution you need to complete a questionnaire and have a version of WhatsApp downloaded. You then register to participate in the Aila Solution using your name and phone number. You can only register once for each mobile number you may possess.
If you choose not to use Aila for a period of time, we may pause some features which depend on our processing of your information. These features will recommence when you proactively reach out on the Aila Beta or send us an email at hello@ailamoney.com.
Your use of the Aila Solution is also subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the messaging service you use to receive Aila Solution messages.
Some parts of the Aila Solution depend on other people and technologies (third parties and partners). We always try to keep Aila’s Solution available, though we can't promise it always will be or that it will work perfectly, particularly if the messaging Apps or a partner service is undergoing maintenance. If this happens, we’ll tell you about it if we think you need to know and will get things back up and running as soon as we can.
For the Beta Solution to work, your device needs to be connected to a messaging service, ideally WhatsApp and meet their operating system requirements.
The Beta Solution also may not work as designed if your device has been changed or tampered with (better known as ‘jail breaking’ or ‘rooting’), or if you use software which may interfere with our ability to deliver the Solution.
For the Aila website to work, you need to use compatible browsers and keep them up-to-date. If you are having issues accessing the website, get in touch with us at hello@ailamoney.com.
Aila grants you a non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Solution and website for your personal use only. Aila has the right to revoke your licence at any point if you do not comply with these Terms. All other rights in the Apps and website are reserved by Aila or its licensors. Aila (or its licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Apps and in all the material published on them (written, visual or other content). Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of the content on the Solution and website must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the content on our Solution or website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.
You agree:
Not to duplicate, copy, reproduce or re-sell any part of our Solution or website in contravention of the provisions of these terms.
Not to interfere with, damage or disrupt or access without authority:
When you register for the Beta Solution, you choose what and how much information you provide to us.
As with any service holding your financial information, it is important to keep your information secure. We will ensure that your Aila information are not accessible to other parties and are transmitted through safe and efficient channels. You must not leave the device you are using unattended while you are viewing the Aila Solution. In the event that you dispose of your device, you must delete the Aila Solution interactions.
If the device on which you access the Aila Solution, is lost or stolen, or you suspect that someone else might know your device password, you must tell us immediately and we will delete all messages (see 'Contacting Each Other'). Aila is not responsible for any of your losses which result from someone other than yourself accessing Aila’s Solution.
To use Aila Beta Solution you will need to voluntarily answer some questions and provide some financial information, such as current accounts and credit cards.
In the event you no longer want your personal information to be displayed in the Beta Solution, or stored by Aila, you may delete the conversations with Aila or by emailing us at hello@ailamoney.com.
Aila cannot and will not check the accuracy of the information you provide us as part of the Beta Solution and we won’t be able to correct or investigate any of the information shared. Your money remains your responsibility. We are not responsible for any action you choose to take as a result of any Aila Solution prompts we provide.
You can interact with Aila Beta Solution at any time and if you ask a question, Aila should acknowledge this within 48 hours. Aila never provides financial advice.
We appreciate and are grateful for any ideas and feedback on how to make Aila better. We may use this feedback to develop new products or features, but we won’t offer you payment or recognition for doing so.
Sometimes we'll offer rewards for things like providing information, booking a coach or an advisor, or inviting friends to join Aila. Unless we have given an expiry date, we can withdraw or change these offers any time, without letting you know in advance.
We will provide you with information and Aila prompts primarily through the Solution, although we may also send you information and Aila prompts to your email address or mobile number by SMS or Whatsapp where we consider this appropriate. Take a look at our Privacy and Cookie Policy for more information on how this works. You are responsible for maintaining and regularly checking your messaging service, device or e-mail inbox for information and notifications from us.
If your contact details (including your mobile phone number or email address) change, you should tell us as soon as you can. We will communicate with you in English.

You have a right to cancel the free version of Aila at any time, without charge. You can request this by messaging us on the Beta Solution or emailing us at hello@ailamoney.com.
If you have booked and paid for a one-off of multiple individual or group coaching session, you also have a right to cancel an appointment until 24 hours before the scheduled call. Where the time is shorter than 24 hours, we will charge you for a single coaching session at the pre-agreed price.
If you wish to cancel multiple individual or group coaching sessions, you may request a refund and we will pro-rata the unused amount. Multiple coaching sessions are valid for a 12 month period from the day of purchase. They will not automatically renew.
If you cancel or end this agreement, once a further 6 months have passed, we will anonymise and archive all personal data we hold about you. Please see our Privacy and Cookie Policy for further information.
We may occasionally offer free trials of the coaching service. Additional terms shall apply to these free trials, which we will provide to you before entering into the trial.
We may stop providing the Solution if you’ve not used Aila for a while, but we’ll always check with you before we do.
We may also close or freeze your access to the Beta Solution without your permission if you have been abusive to a member of Aila staff or community member, or sent inappropriate and/or offensive content.
We may at any time suspend, restrict, or end your use of our service, your access to the Solution if we think your security may have been breached, or your privacy could be at risk through attempted fraudulent activity, including if:
In the event we have to suspend or restrict your access to the Aila Beta Solution, we will inform you after the fact, giving the reasons why we’ve suspended or cancelled your access to the Solution. Unless there was any unlawful or fraudulent reasons, we will allow you to resume your use of the Solution as soon as practical after the reasons for stopping its use cease to exist.
In the event that we need to contact you in respect of suspected fraud or any other security threat we will do so in the way that we think is the most secure in the circumstances.
The responses described above are not limited and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Solution is done at your own discretion and risk and you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from our Beta Solution, us or Aila Coaches will create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time you accepted these Terms, both we and you knew it might happen.
We only provide the Service for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the product for any commercial, business or resale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
If defective digital content which we have supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. However, we will not be liable for damage which you could have avoided by following our advice to apply an update offered to you free of charge.
We only provide the Service for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the product for any commercial, business or resale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
We are not a financial adviser, and the Solution is not intended to provide financial advice. Your financial situation is unique. We do not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind that the Solution is appropriate for you.
You agree to protect and fully compensate us from any and all third party claims, liability, damages, expenses and costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable solicitors’ fees) caused by or arising from your use of the Solution, your violation of these Terms or your infringement, or infringement by any other user of your account, of any intellectual property or other right of anyone.
These Terms will always be available on our website and Solution users can request a copy at any time.
We can make changes to these Terms from time to time. As this agreement has no fixed duration, we can't predict all of the reasons why we might change these Terms, but we have set out some of these below. We'll only ever make changes that are proportionate and reasonable and if we have a valid reason for doing so, taking into account your interests (even if it is not one of the reasons set out below).
We will implement minor changes immediately (unless we are required to give you notice by law), and will give you reasonable advance written notice by email or through the Solution of any intended significant change to the Terms along with the new version of the Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, you can end your relationship with Aila by texting us directly on Aila’s Solution or emailing Aila at hello@ailamoney.com. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume that you’re happy with the changes we’ve made. You have a right to end this agreement at any time before the proposed change takes effect.
If you have a complaint, please send us a message directly on the Aila Solution or email us at hello@ailamoney.com. We’ll send you a prompt reply and will get back to you with a full response to your complaint as soon as we can, but always within 15 business days of receiving it. We'll do our best to fix the problem.
Aila customers do not qualify for compensation under any statutory or other compensation scheme should we become unable to meet our liabilities.
Aila may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.
You need our written consent to transfer your rights under these Terms to someone else.
These Terms are between you and us. No other person shall have any right to enforce any of the terms.
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these Terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breach, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
These Terms, and all our dealings with you are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute can be dealt with by an English and Welsh court unless your address is in Scotland (where you can choose between the courts of England and Wales or the courts of Scotland); or Northern Ireland (where you can choose between the courts of England and Wales or the courts of Northern Ireland).
